Blast from the past…Art and Design influence on 2013’s Fashion

While looking at the runway fashions for spring 2013 it seemed as if I was looking through an art history text book. From Prada to Gucci everyone seems to be looking to art and design for influence. I have to say I am in love with many of this year’s trends, now I can feel like and look walking piece of art (not that fashion itself isn’t already an art form, but you know what I mean). You can also get ready to boogie down and get groovy because the 1960’s are back!  Fashions this year are undeniably inspired from the 60’s and 70’s a time of bright color and bold pattern and of course amazing art and design. I’ve compiled some comparisons of this year’s hottest fashions with art and design which for the most part all come from the atomic age. Groovy baby.
