Though Roy Lichtenstein is famous for his tongue-in-cheek comic book strip paintings, I find his lesser shown Interior Series from the early nineties to be an absolutely fabulous source of interior design inspiration. No, there isn’t any striped wallpaper here or a polka-dotted couch (that might be a bit much for everyday life)…However, this contemporary take on Lichtenstein’s Modern Room is still in Pop Art taste with graphic patterns, bright colors, and mid-century/mod style furniture.
